Inas was laid to rest with a Muslim prayer followed by a Muslim Janazah ceremony on Sunday 19th, April 2026. Inaz Shabazz’s radiant smile and caring hands will be cherished and remembered in many ways by son Rahman Khabir and family, late daughter Cathy I Bassett and family, daughter Jacqueline Basden and family, daughters Saudia Virgil and Alicia Virgil and family and son Ali Virgil and family. Inas Shabazz cherished and held close to her heart her many grands, great grands, great greatgrands, nieces and nephews, god children, caregivers, special friends, companions, Masjid Muhammad family and the guiding angels and close friends she kept nearest and dearest to her heart for the special times together; you know who you are!
