A Homegoing Service for Edward Victor Frederick Williams, affectionately known as Ed, Bully, Chief, Commish, and Dad, the loving husband of Emily Jane Williams and father of Edonna Bean (Ryan), Michael Webb (Pathmini), Chevon Armstrong (Abdu), E. Damien Burch, Natasha Burch, Daniel Williams, Edsa Katrina Bandayrel (Eugene), and Charina Balatero (John Martin); son of the late Mary Clementine Williams and the late Harold Edward Montgomery Dill; brother of Shirley Rogers, Karen Dill Anderson (Rodney), Karole Dill Barkley (Eric),Kathleen Dill, and the late Edwina Dill in his 78th year of Smith’s Parish, will be held at Evangelical Church of Bermuda, 1 Mission Road, Paget, on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at St. John’s Cemetery, Pembroke. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at Augustus Funeral Home, Orchid Chapel, on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again at Evangelical Church of Bermuda on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. Lovingly survived by his grandchildren: Taffori Burch, Emyr Bean, Esai Bean, Ezer Bean, and Jiana Balatero; godchildren: Lamont Robinson, Joyce Rochester, Tracy Berkeley, Troy Harris, and Sharon Bean; many cousins, too numerous to mention by name; extended family in Bermuda and abroad; his church family; lifelong friends; colleagues; neighbours; and many dear friends in Bermuda and around the world.
