Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Dr. Delores Sarah Evadne Amaral, loving wife of Dr. Tyrone J. Amaral, mother to Leonard Swan, daughter of Barclay and Madeline Adams (Caines), both predeceased, and sister to Barclay Adams Jr. (Linda), Susan Berkeley (MacDonald), Jeanette Millett (Kenneth), and Sylvia Douglas (Raphael), in her 76th year, of 47 Seawall Drive, Boaz Island, Sandys. Delores also leaves behind beloved Grandchildren Luke (finance Alsha), Joshua, Elijah and Isaiah, Pola Lightbourne (mother of grandchildren), Nieces and Nephews, David Adams, Honey Adams (Peter), Zonya Adams, Carla Greaves (Kevin), Selwyn Berkeley, Shawn Thomas (Erica), MaceelaBerkeley (and goddaughter) and Jerome Thomas, Sisters-in-law Barbara Jane Vermilyea (John), Jenice Amaral Germain, Stepson and daughter Mark Andrew Amaral and Kelly Hunt, Step-grandchildren Peter (Erin), Joshua, Wesley, Stephanie and Anaiyah, Godchildren, and the extended Adams, Caines, Burgess, Puckerin, Brown (Texas) families, and other family members too numerous to mention. Special friends James and Mary Conyers, Lynell Furbert, Gloria Ann Tucker, Valerie Lightbourne and many other friends too numerous to mention. A homegoing service will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, at The First Church of God, North Shore, at 11:00 am, where family and friends are welcome to pay their last respects and celebrate Delores’ life. Augustus & Sons Funeral Home, Today, June 19, 2025 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
