A Home-going graveside service for Amelia Conceicao Tavares (also known as Emily “Maggie” Tavares) beloved wife of the late Hermeto “Tony” Tavares, loving mother of Manuel “Manny” Corday (Jean), Mary Lindo (Robert) and Tony Tavares in her 94th year of 39 Old Road, Hamilton Parish (formerly of Trinity Church Road, Hamilton Parish), will be held graveside service at Holy Trinity, Trinity Church Road, Hamilton Parish, Monday, September 21, 2026 at 11am. Also lovingly survived by grandchildren Melissa and Derek Lindo, Tonaé (Mother – Vanessa) and Isaiah (Mother – Darlene) Tavares; great-grandchildren Jomei and Jaela Bean-Lindo; great-great-granddaughter J’ru Bean-Lindo; special cousin Charlie Sousa. Special friends the late Lois Stowe & family; the late Lois Outerbridge & family; the late Maria da Conceicao Pimentel & family; Lynn Trott & family; David Bowker & family; Bobby Mello & family; the Adcock family; Mr. & Mrs. Furbert & family; Sandy, Peter & family; Wanda, Joe & family; the Tavares & Cardell families and many other friends & family too numerous to mention.
