Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Rudolph Edwin Lawrence, in his 94th year. Dearly beloved husband of Greta Lawrence, née Adams; son of the late Eldon Wainwright and Imogene Lawrence; loving father of Euleen Furbert (Ralph), Kanhai Lawrence (Naomi), Gary Lawrence (Marcelle), Lionel “Eddie” Paul, Dennis “Bo” Paul, and Marie Paul.He was the dear brother of Enid Whitter (the late Harley), the late Marvin Lawrence (Gwendolyn), the late Freida Nusum (Sheridan), Judith Lawrence, Dawn “Candy” Desilva (Carlos), and the late Clifford Weldon (Marjorie).Beloved grandfather of Jevon Lawrence (Kim), Raneek Furbert, Brittany Eversley, Garynae and Kinae Dowling and MareikoPaul.He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 2 May 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church.
